Soccer, ATL style: 7 homegrown pieces to get you World Cup ready

Here is a very predictable fashion trend for Atlanta this summer: You’ll see more soccer jerseys.
One thing we know is true about this town is that when major events land here, folks dress for the occasion. That won’t change at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is setting up shop here for eight matches.
There’s been a rise in soccer fandom stateside. At the same time, minority-owned apparel brands have been putting their unique style spins on the beautiful game for years. This month, Little Five Points streetwear boutique Wish ATL — known for its past partnerships with prominent Black names — dropped its World Cup collection with Atlanta United and the U.S. men’s national team.
Overwhelmed by choosing between a Lamine Yamal Spain jersey or Argentina’s classic striped top with “Messi” on the back? Don’t overthink it.
Maybe you’re a die-hard footballer, casual supporter or local just happy to have a monthlong party in your backyard. Wherever you fall on the World Cup fandom scale, there’s a homegrown option.
From original jersey designs to World Cup-inspired pieces, here are a few of our favorites.
KM striped soccer jersey

Can’t go wrong with a simple, retro vibe. As part of its “Origins: Anniversary Capsule,” Atlanta-based Kultured Misfits dropped cream and black versions of this jacquard-patterned kit.
Mifland Million M jersey

There are 10 versions of the Mifland FC Jersey, including 2024 and 2025 editions. Yet, something about the Million M Jersey just sticks out. Maybe it’s the classic Mifland lowercase “m” pattern or the flourish of colors. Either way, it’s giving goalkeeper/soccer style icon Jorge Campos vibes and I’m here for it.
Mundial Stankonia F.C. jersey

Last year, football lifestyle platform Mundial dropped this special edition jersey to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Outkast’s “Stankonia.” The colorway and right patch are a nod to the album’s cover, which featured Big Boi and a shirtless André 3000 standing in front of a black-and-white American flag.
AIE World Cup kit

This isn’t Atlanta Influence’s Everything’s first foray into football. The brand worked with Atlanta United on the club’s “404 Kit” in 2023. The AIE World Cup kit is more understated than that graffiti-laced third kit, with touches of Croatia’s classic checkered print tops.

As part of its World Cup capsule, AIE also has an accompanying World Cup T-shirt in the works. You can purchase the jersey here, and shirts should be in the AIE online shop soon.
AKOO FC SS polo

AKOO (A King of Oneself), founded by rapper T.I. and business partner Jason Geter in 2008, has always featured bold prep designs. This all-over graphic AKOO FC SS polo is no different. Checkered flags, red lights, you’ll feel cool running them all in this one.
MARTA Summer of Soccer 2026

Bad news: MARTA’s new trains are delayed for now. Good news: The transit service has been putting out merch for a minute, and it ain’t bad. Said products include the MARTA Summer of Soccer 2026 jerseys, which come in both light and dark mode.
4or the Locals Atlanna International Players

Most locals over a certain age can appreciate a good Outkast reference. Yes, that includes this reporter. The Atlanna International Players collection from 4or the Locals pulls its name from the duo’s classic collab, “International Player’s Anthem (I Choose You)” with Houston rap legends UGK. The drop includes T-shirts, truckers and this polo with graphic nods to both the FIFA World Cup trophy and 1996 Summer Olympics.
