Trailer drops for new ‘It’s UATL’ podcast on Black culture

Starting Aug. 27 you’ll hear UATL like never before.
Introducing the “It’s UATL” podcast: your unscripted, weekly dose of Black culture straight from the heart of Atlanta.
Journalists Nedra Rhone, Najja Parker, DeAsia Paige, Brooke Leigh Howard and their guests explore what’s shaping Black life across the South — covering pop culture, politics, activism, food, fashion and everything in between.

“The podcast is the product of a true sisterhood, rooted in the hosts’ commitment to building community and honesty with each other, and listeners,” Paige said.
The podcast trailer dropped today across podcast platforms.
“‘It’s UATL’ is the place for multigenerational conversations about some of the most interesting and important aspects of Black culture in Atlanta,” said Rhone.
Parker highlighted the process of making the podcast with her colleagues.
“I love DeAsia’s openness, Nedra’s brilliance and Brooke’s curiosity,” she said.

“From the silly to the serious, our conversations cover it all, and I always come away with new perspectives and a smile. It’s the best part of my week.”
Rhone added that the hosts also know the importance of telling stories deeply rooted in the history and joy of the Black community.
“Our unscripted conversations offer listeners insight and inspiration to live more fully and unapologetically,” she said.

“For us, vulnerability is a superpower. And we believe that deeper connections within our community are the key to making us stronger.”
It’s a weekly conversation that’s undeniably real and uniquely UATL, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday on major podcast platforms.
