It was a 50-part viral TikTok series that drew millions of viewers and turned one question into an internet phenomenon: “Who TF Did I Marry?”

Content creator and storyteller Reesa Teesa’s candid confessions about the trauma of her failed marriage clicked with audiences.

So, what comes after that?

This month, Reesa Teesa, whose real name is Tareasa Johnson, released a memoir, “What (TF) Do I Do Now? Reclaiming Myself, One Piece at a Time.”

In an interview with the hosts of “It’s UATL,” Johnson said she originally envisioned “Who TF Did I Marry?” as a book. After the series’ online success and after she signed with an agency, she was pitched the idea of writing a self-help book.

“I am not in a position to self-help nobody,” Johnson said.

“What I did want to do was to write a book that talked about, number one, how I even ended up in the situation I was in, the marriage I was in, and what did I learn from it.”

Johnson opens up about her series, life afterward and what online audiences can expect from her written words.
